BROCK
step back in time to a scottish medieval barony
The estate is where Robert the Bruce and the wildlife of his royal hunting forest are vibrantly brought to life.
Medieval history with barons and pretzels along with the secluded magical landscape and exceptional diversity of conservation wildlife make this a completely unique location in central Scotland.
If your trip to Scotland includes breathing in the scent of Norway spruce pine needles or climbing Scottish hills we’re the location for you. While staying in exquisite designer Scottish contemporary accommodation Brucefield Estate in central Scotland is luxury ecotourism where contemporary & sustainable design are combined with conservation & wildlife.
Amongst the 1000 acres, semi-ancient woodlands of Scots Pine, oak and birch you’ll find red squirrels, pine martens and a whole natural world with many conservation species. Our eco cabins or lodges, known as Schenbothies, are the perfect forest TinyHomes or Tiny House, fully insulated and with triple glazing, as well as your own gorgeously tiled bathroom (with underfloor heating). Built completely of timber, in the forest, using the finest artisanal carpentry skills to create a designer woodland space that will leave you utterly refreshed and recuperated.
birthday, anniversary or festive celebration
Plan some time away in 2026 to get away - as a solo traveller, with a partner or even with a teenager for an adventure - see our father & son itinerary. Food delivered to your cabin or for a special occasion, try out one of our woodland trails with birch discs and red ribbons leading to a firepit and picnic.
Central scotland
Under an hour from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and Stirling, and an hour from St Andrews we’re right in the middle. And only 15 minutes from Dollar and Culross, location of the Outlander tv series.
Cycling, walking or golf
We’ve put togther several itineraries for walking or cycling involving our local hills, historic towns, castles, farm shops, golf courses and you can even reach us by public transport, with just the last 10 mins by taxi or bicycle. You can hire all-terrain TREK bicycles and we’ve plenty of GPS routes tried and tested by our team on road routes, hill climbs and traffic-free cycle routes through woodlands and fields.
Five star accommodation
Tucked away in 1000 acres of woodlands and meadows with a rich wildlife and historic landscape, and unique ancestry: that’s what guests find with us.
And we also have gift vouchers available if you’re looking to gift a very special experience: particularly with a tree planting session or guided history & wildlife tour added on, or a Polly’s Pantry picnic hamper.
Just ask if you have any questions and we’d be delighted to help.
