This was for pleasure but also a bit of a business trip. We actually build luxury garden rooms and holiday homes for a living, we really struggled to find a cabin that was built to such a high standard and had the right look and feel for us to stay in. Mrs & Mr J Dec 2023

Despite a month having passed, just thinking about those three days of the trip still brings me immense joy! The cosy and comfortable bothy was absolutely delightful, with a modern design and a tasteful touch in every corner. The quality of the amenities provided in the bathroom was exceptional, and the shower facilities were new and good to use.

The kitchen had all the necessary equipment, making it easy to cook delicious and hearty meals. The bed was large and incredibly comfortable, and over those three days, we enjoyed restful sleep and felt truly content.

I loved the experience of living in the bothy for those three days. Surrounded by nature, it felt like a peaceful retreat while still being connected to the world with reliable internet access. The homemade bread, jam, and honey provided by the estate were delicious and had a rustic yet exquisite taste that lingers in my memory. The nearby trails were serene, and I particularly enjoyed the warmth of gathering around the fire inside the bothy. It truly was a comfortable journey, purifying both the mind and body—a healing getaway with my beloved dog and friend that will be missed. Ms HY, May 2023

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in das Tinyhouse. Den Checkin hat Dawid übernommen. Er war sehr freundlich und hat uns alles wichtige gezeigt und erklärt und schon einige Vorschläge für Ausflüge gemacht. Unser Tinyhouse war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Man merkte, dass es mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet war. Alles wichtige war vorhanden und die Lage war schön ruhig in der Natur. Hier und da konnte man auch Vögel oder Rehe vom Sofa aus beobachten. Während unseres Aufenthalts konnten wir uns immer an die Gastgeber für Vorschläge für Aktivitäten wenden. Uns wurde beispielsweise die schöne Distillery Tullibardine oder das Hofcafe Polly’s Pantry empfohlen. Beide Besuche haben sich wirklich gelohnt. Victoria hat uns dann verabschiedet.

There aren’t enough stars to exemplify how beautiful and brilliant this place is. The customer service at Brucefield is hands down the best I’ve ever experienced, the whole team were determined to ensure every need was met. They even helped to arrange a marriage proposal which was nothing short of magical and took place (with their help) in the middle of the woods underneath the stars. For lots of reasons we hope to return to Brucefield one day but the design of the bothy is an architectural triumph. Ms B & Ms E January 2023

We visited in January and the bothy is so well insulated we made the mistake of lighting the stove on the first night. Too warm! The underfloor heating in the kitchen area is sufficient for all but the very coldest of weather. Mr & Mrs M, January 2023

Although they have a small footprint, raised up in the woodland, there’s everything you could want inside. The buildings, which have underfloor heating, have been so well constructed that we’re cosy enough without it. We’re soon scrambling up and down (the ladder) like spider monkeys. It’s very comfortable up there, with a super-king tatami mat and bouncy Egyptian cotton bed linen. We have stayed in a lot of lovely ‘secluded’ places, where you can still hear the buzz of a nearby road. Not here.
